*Name withheld for security reasons and with dispensation from the Charity Commission for England and Wales
“Chairperson” was born and raised in the UK and brings over 35 years of award-winning international experience as a filmmaker, collaborating with major broadcasters worldwide.
Having witnessed both the best and the worst of the world, he has a drive to use his personal expertise to advocate for positive change, both in the UK and globally. Over the years, he has developed a passion to address the issue of human trafficking and shedding light on this grave injustice.
“Rescuing children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking is one of the most urgent and noble causes anyone can commit to. Every child deserves a life free from fear, abuse and oppression—a life where they can dream, learn and grow in safety. It is our moral duty to be a voice for the voiceless, to fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, and to ensure that no child is forgotten or left behind.”
ROSEMARY LIVINGSTONE
Trustee
Rosemary is a Zimbabwean-Portuguese entrepreneur and humanitarian based in London. Through her company, RL Flower Designs, she has decades of experience transforming spaces for high-profile clients including Elton John and Queen Elizabeth II.
A passionate advocate for children’s rights, Rosemary serves as a trustee for Destiny Rescue UK. She is deeply committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children worldwide—helping them discover their self-worth and find their voices with confidence.
“Above all, I am a woman and a mother. My work to rescue children from exploitation is driven by a personal commitment to provide them with safety, reignite their light and protect their freedom to dream without fear.”
JATINDER SEHMI
Trustee
Jatinder was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and relocated to the UK in the late 1960s. After completing his schooling and university education, he lived in France and the United States before returning to the UK in 2024. With nearly 22 years of experience at Warner Bros., Jatinder has a wealth of experience working in finance, becoming a vice president at the company. This includes serving as a project executive coordinating system upgrades, business integration and process improvements.
Driven by a deep compassion for vulnerable children, Jatinder is passionate about combating the exploitation and trafficking of children globally. He is dedicated to creating a world where children can grow up free from the horrors of this abuse.
“Children are the innocents who come into the world needing nurturing and opportunities to develop and grow up in safe, secure, loving families, and it breaks my heart when I hear about any sort of abuse, sexual exploitation or trafficking, especially when it involves defenceless children.”
Marsha Forbes
Director of Church Partnerships
Marsha is a strategic leader and advocate with over 18 years of senior global experience in fundraising, partnerships, and mission mobilisation. Born and raised in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, she has built her career across some of the world’s most respected international humanitarian organisations, including World Vision, and has spent her career building movements that generate lasting change for vulnerable people.
As Director of Church Partnerships, Marsha leads Destiny Rescue UK’s engagement with the British church network, partnering with faith communities to mobilise supporters, raise awareness of child exploitation, and resource the mission of rescue and reintegration. She brings deep knowledge of the UK Christian landscape, a passion for justice, and a conviction that the church is uniquely positioned to respond to the global crisis of child trafficking.
Marsha holds an MBA and is a practitioner executive coach, working with senior leaders navigating complex transitions and high-stakes decision-making. She is also a pastor, teacher, and founder of Wildflowers Community, a women’s organisation based in Milton Keynes, and is committed to equipping people to live with purpose and to see the most vulnerable given a future free from exploitation.
“Every child deserves to be safe, known, and free. The church has always been called to stand with the oppressed, and I believe this generation of believers is ready to answer that call.”
